Saw this on one of my fave blogs, Towleroad.com, today.
Jack Mackenroth, following his unfortunate medical issue-induced departure from Project Runway last night, makes a YouTube video - and gays everywhere are screaming "Gay!."
It took a while for this video to load for me, but I couldn't stop watching it. Enjoy!

Blah Blah Blog: Other People LIVE BLOG The Emmys
Two very entertaining ways to relive the Emmy's:
1. EW.com's Michael Slezak, funny, gay and usually spot on.
His best line of the night -
11:08 p.m. Tomorrow, you can find James Gandolfini and Edie Falco in their matching, "My producers picked up Emmys, and all I got was this stupid musical tribute from Jersey Boys" t-shirts.
2. Joan F-ing Rivers. Her daughter, Melissa. Sitting safely (and comfortably) in something I imagine to be like the Grey Gardens of Park Avenue.
Their best line of the night-
Joan: Biggest disappointment since my wedding night? Michael Imperioli not winning. The reason? His wife isn’t big enough. Looks like Terry O’Quinn already has a giant golden statue. Here’s one thing that will never be Lost… Terry O’Quinn’s wife!
Melissa: We learned more about Terry O’Quinn in the last 30 seconds than on how many seasons of Lost? Pink shirt, sparkly tie, and his wife.
And Joan Rivers is doing Red Carpet on YouTube. Very cutting edge.:
Best awards show in years - our of any of them - it ran smoothly, I laughed and I didn't get (too) bored. Of course, watching it on DVR and fast-forwarding the Tony Bennett and Robert Duvall related speeches certainly helps.
Best commercials of the night: Tina Fey's American Express ad and Every Celebrity with something to sell's Macy spot.
Next year, that old bitch Emmy turns sixty - will Friday Night Lights make the cut? If you were watch it this season that would help.
P.S. Ryan Seacrest was not a complete disappointment. But, is he even human? I think he might be part droid. If I knew what a droid was.

Funny Video: Go Ahead, Piss Yourself.
This will just take a few minutes and, if everything goes according to plan, you may laugh so hard you may lose control of your bladder a little bit. Trust me, it'll be worth it and wil br dry before you know it.
Are you familiar with Brenda Dickson? You can read about her here, if you want. Basically, she is a former soap actress that made a video in the 80's about her life, her "style and fashion" and her home. She did what? I know, it's real, though.
But, it really isn't important who she is, just watch the first few minutes of her "Welcome to My Home" video and then stick around for a special treat:
Now that you are properly informed, watch this online video miracle - a parody of what you've just seen:
Bookmark this. Watch it when you're drunk. Or not drunk. I'm 100% 50/50 that it always makes me happy.
Thanks to Bryan for sharing the oo's and ont's of having a large vagine and for sharing this with me.

Some days I just don't know what to post.

Nina (12:15:48 PM): so... remember you said you only like the hot guys?

me (12:29:16 PM): you know my type so well.
Nina (12:29:13 PM): he's hot.
Nina (12:29:33 PM): i think people that work in such mini malls are always hot.
Nina (12:29:45 PM): especially if the mini mall is called fleamarket.
me (12:30:36 PM): yeah, I'm having a hard time seeing how his shop is like a mini mall. It's more like a mini junk yard.
Nina (12:30:36 PM): lol
Nina (12:31:48 PM): "mini junk yard" doesn't rhyme with "montgomery" though.... "mini mall" does.
Nina (12:31:50 PM): kinda.
Nina (12:31:53 PM): kind not.
me (12:32:32 PM): all good points. Thank you for sharing not only your wisdom, but your video with me as well.
me (12:32:41 PM): Don't call us, we'll call you.
Thanks, Nina.

Is There Safer Sex Than With a Hot Cartoon?
Darren sent Karl and me this video today. It's from a French safe sex campaign that started airing at least a year ago, it may have been longer. Do you know it? Anyway, Darren's email said it would make us smile...and it did make me happy. And a little horny. Now I'm sharing the joy.
Yes, I have this little fetish for sexy animated characters.
Not like sexy smurf (if there was such a creature) or Buzz Lightyear or anything, but hot, cartoon "humans." Like the doctor at the end of this video? Yum.

Rosie's Funniest View Moment
She's already such a bitch about reading what basically amounts to the press release for each of the daily giveaways on The View, but this clip really shows her tone and expression as it goes from bitch to genius:
VAVOOM!
Thanks, Kit.

New Video: Puppies!
On Friday night, I was walking down 9th avenue with my friends Mike & Kit and we encountered a new pet shop with puppies playing in the window. Here's what we saw:

Clips of the Day: 30 Rock
Every day on Nick'd videos with a common theme are at the top right hand corner of the page. From 1-5 videos, just clip on the image of a video you want to try and watch it without leaving the blog.
Today it's Tina Fey's genius 30 Rock. A whole new episode on tonight and some popular clips to the right.
What will be Friday's clips theme bring us? Well, you'll have to come back and see, now won't you? Maybe there will be more questions? Probably just more clips.

"OVGuide" Just Doesn't Have The Same Ring
TVGuide has made another step in their attempt to become the online guide to video on the web. Since that whole digital cable thing is ruining the need for an actual, real television guide. From a quick perusal, it seems to be mostly entertainment industry (TV, celebrity, etc) related clips and the site is mostly an aggregator of links, directing users back out to different websites where the actual video lives.
Although TVGuide has been hosting its own video and even is creating some web-exclusive content, including The Ausiello Report which features spoilers and inside scoop from some of TV's most popular scripted shows.
Check out the Online Video Guide and watch away. We'll see if this is helpful (do I really need this?), if it picks up any traffic and how they plan to incorporate non-TV related and even user generated videos.

Commercial Obsession: Target "less" Commercials
I don't know how I end up watching so many commercials since I watch 95% of my television on DVR, but I do.
Here's a relatively recent Target spot I am loving right now (not the best quality, but you'll get the picture):
How clever, using all the "less" words. Seems to me like some advertising creative person should be getting a raise because even Rosie read a fan question asking her if she liked the Target commercials on a recent video blog entry. And Ro said "yes."
Buy the song featured in the commercial. It's A Little Bit More by Jamie Lidell. On iTunes.

Addiction: Video Blogs
I am addicted to Rosie O'Donnell's "homemade" videos. Watch them. I have a hard time reading all of the negative questions and her kooky computer/haiku language on the actual Q&A and traditional blog section of her site, but the videos are voyeuristically entertaining. And her hair lady, Helene (I think), who appears in most of the posts is captivating.
Speaking of online video, my friend Barrett recently traveled around Europe and captured his adventures in a series of short video recaps. See them all here.
Here's a sampling of BarrettinEurope:
