TV honors itself for the 59th time. That we know of.

The Emmy Awards are on THIS Sunday. As a lover of television and handsome men this is a pretty exciting awards show for me, although I think it is also the show that snubs the most deserving artists. Luckily it still features a few do-able dudes.

I think it's on Fox, but honestly, I'm too lazy to check right now so you can do like me and just look it up on your digital cable box. Ryan Seacrest is hosting. I don't feel excited about that at all. He's pretty to look at, it's true. But on American Idol, where I'm watching for a purpose other than him, it's ok to have a pretty boy host. With Ryan running the show at the Emmy's the other celebs are going to have to really step up their game to be interesting, cause I don't think Ryan is going to cut it.

Please, surprise me Ryan Seacrest. Introduce us to your secret male lover or something.

I also heard a rumor from US Weekly via Perez Hilton that Britney Spears is in negotiations with the Emmy peeps to give an official apology on air at this year's ceremony. Um, what? That would be so random and out of place. I hope that doesn't happen. She needs to just issue a press release and then never let it happen again. It's like what my mom used to say, "Don't say your sorry, just don't do it."

Anyway, here are come links for complete Emmy coverage. And, PS, I just checked and the awards are on Fox. Sometimes it's funny to me that they made it from the days of Cops and Married With Children to become an actual, nearly legitimate network. I digress. To the links!

EW.com (of course, my number one recommended stop)
The Official Primetime Emmy Site because it's official
E! Online
TV Guide (Plus, Michael Ausiello will have some scoopy red carpet video next week, I'm sure)

Since Friday Night Lights didn't score any of the top nominations which it so rightfully deserves, may the second best show on TV win big, whatever that may be.

Customer Service Announcement: Stay Away from Muses Legal

Some people have starving children. Debilitating diseases. Non-profit organization. Not this socially-conscious dude. For me, it's poor customer service that I've adopted as one of my biggest issues. If you have a bad experience you need to share, send it my way.

From Kit's blog:

muses legal
Three months ago, while michael and i were having our wills drafted, i came across a glowing article in The Advocate (or was it OUT magazine?) about
Muses Legal products. It sounded like a great deal — over a hundered customizable legal documents by state pecifically designed to to help unmarried (gay or straight) couples legally protect themselves. The timing was perfect and it seemed like a cost effective solution to having our lawyer draft all the documents for us so we ordered the CD. However when three weeks had passed and we hadn’t recieved our order I sent an email to the Muse customer care department. I heard back very quickly that the CDs were backordered and I should recieve my order within the next two days — that was April 30th. However I have been unable to get any response from customer service since then.
I’d hoped that a quick Google search today would provide the email of the founder so I could foward my
chain of disasterous customer service emails and hopefully get this issue resolved. However I was shocked to find out that the person who was not returning my calls, not returning my emails and not sending me my product is the founder Deborah Dillon. So if you’re reading this before ordering, save your time, money and effort and avoid the disaster that is Muses Legal.

New Video: Puppies!

On Friday night, I was walking down 9th avenue with my friends Mike & Kit and we encountered a new pet shop with puppies playing in the window. Here's what we saw:

Friends cast members in same sex kiss!?!

My friend Michael Ausiello from TVGuide.com slipped some inside scoop to Page Six today about two Friends castmates who are sharing the screen once again, this time a little more intimately - Courtney Cox and Jennifer Anniston (I know, I was hoping for a Matt LeBlanc and that guy that played Gunther kiss, too...) will apparently blend lipsticks on Jen's upcoming appearance on F/X's Dirt.

I've yet to watch Dirt, although there are a few episodes waiting there on my DVR. I've just heard it's plain bad. And there will be so much hype and, I'm sure, YouTube footage surrounding the kiss I'm sure even my grandmother won't miss seeing it. In fact, grandma may even enjoy it.

(God, I hope she never reads this.)
