I loved it.
I hope they don't make a movie.
I can't recall a sequence with the simultaneous suspense and Americana of those final moments.
Yes, the screen was meant to go black.
(Just to remind us we were watching TV. And we didn't know what was going to happen next.)
And, I can't get Journey's Don't Stop Believin' out of my head.

love.love.loved it too. i can't stop thinking about it. genius. i was upset today to read that SO many people actually felt cheated by it.
i couldn't get it out of my brain either so i downloaded it today. however, i think they should release a 'sopranos edit' of it that stops exactly where it did on the show. those 80's songs repeat and fade out for forever...
